beautiful widgets???

i used to use the weather widget from HTC (that was stock) but found i needed to connect to the internet for weather updates all the time.

i then switched to beautiful widgets weather and now my weather seems to update regularily but i'm not connected to the internet.
and i don't use 3G.

any ideas how this is working?

When u was connected BW download data and change when time change

i doubt it can download data for an entire week or 2 weeks?

there must be something else going on cause the weather on my phone is always the same as on my computer.

It is definitely using the internet. There is no other way for it to update.
