Bedbug blanket bingo

I realize this is way off topic, but is there anyone on here who can help with an itchy blanket? Besides the itching there are little bumps, which makes me think there may be bedbugs or something that way. Would cleaning the blanket help?

If in doubt , wash it.
Also your detergent may be the cause?

After washing, dry the blanket on high heat for a minimum of one hour. That is standard bedbug protocol.
