beep b4 call

i have a samsung 3 android why does my phone make 2 beeps when making a call. the calls still goes thru.
 
My S3 plays a little 4 note cord when it connects. Might be different tone by carrier.
To turn this off:

Open App drawer / open Phone app / Menu key / Call settings / Call alert / Call status tones / uncheck Call connect tone / OK
