How do you make it give you the report without Tasker?

You might want to investigate MacroDroid.

Ok, I'm not sure if I understand what you mean by "How do you make it give you the report without Tasker?" but my activities when checking these pages are entirely predictable and repetitive. I wondered whether tasker could essentially do it all for me each day. Open URL, flick back through chronological posts till finds the last one, select all, copy, paste into Gmail. Repeat process per designated URL
 
There is no magic in Tasker. You need to be able to define exactly what is to be read and exactly what is to be entered.

This project would be rather challenging based on what you have described. It should also be noted that after it got working at a future date they could change their website in some minor way that caused your Tasker task to not work correctly.

The way to learn Tasker ... start out with something simple ... get it working ... add to it ... get that working ... add to it ...

Did you ask the owner of the website what thy recommend? There must be a lot of other people with exactly the same need you have.
