Help Beginner questions

As stated this is my first tablet and I basically have no prior experience in this area. I love the Sero 7 Pro but have a few questions.

I can't figure out how to make my Yahoo Mail contacts work. Usually on my PC I start trying the name of the person to e-mail and it fills in. I was told to 'Sync' and did but it wouldn't take.

I wanted to use the Blinds.Com App to help with remolding my house but got a message that it wasn't compatible with my Android. This happened on a few other APPs also. Would someone explain if this is normal and if there is anything that can be done to load these APPs?

1) Different email apps work differently. Some of them don't try to guess what you;re trying to type.

2) Yes. There are so many versions of Android, and so many different types of hardware it's running on, that not all apps run on all devices.
