I'm looking to replace my ancient Droid and have been researching Android phones. 95% of people I know have iPhones; I don't want one because I hate how limited the screen layout is.
However, I'm having a hard time making comparisons. I'm on Verizon and care the most about these things:
1. A reasonably speedy, good quality camera (so I don't constantly miss shots waiting for the camera to load).
2. Relatively speedy maps/Internet, so I'm not waiting 10 minutes to find an address.
3. Longer battery life, so I can make it through a full day of work and still be able to use the GPS at the end of the day.
I don't play games or watch movies on my phone, nor do I listen to music on it. It seems like Android cameras are notoriously crappy, so which on is the best so I can use Instagram like everyone else? Which Android phone will best be able to allow me to use the similar features and apps as my friends with iPhones? Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.
