Best Android TV box for KODI use only?

I currently own a couple of MXQ Android TV boxes (Amlogic S805 Quad-Core,1GB RAM+8GB Flash, Android 4.4 OS).
They run fine, and for the price I paid ($35 USD each) I really can't complain about them.

I would like to get another unit for my home theater room, and this time I would like to get a unit with higher build quality and with improved hardware specs.
My primary use is KODI, and the price is not a concern, as all of these TV boxes seem to be affordable.
I'm kind of looking for the Cadillac of TV boxes (if that exists).

I was looking at the Matricom G-Box Q Android TV box (Quad Core S802 CPU, Mali450 Octo Core 3D GPU, 2GB RAM+16GB Flash, Android 4.4 OS)

Any other models I should consider?
Are the Android 4.4 TV boxes still the best, or should I consider the Windows 8.1 OS units?

Any suggestions or recommendations would really be appreciated.

The unit will be wired to my gigabit network, and my connection is 100 Mbps down, 5 Mbps up, and I will be using the HDMI connection for both video and audio.
