best app for youtube and web browsing on android?

these are 2 things that really bug me on every android device i've had (nexus 1, nexus s, galaxy s3 - currently nexus 4, stock rom stock everything) - but youtube videos work half the time, the other half of the time the circle spins and spins forever, or the app crashes. - browsing web works half the time, the other half pages load 25% - then either never load or the app crashes...

for youtube i tried browsing in chrome youtube.com and the youtube app

for web browsing i tried chrome, dolphin, firefox, maxthon, and opera....all the same experience :/

basically im at the point now where i just use my nexus 4...just as a phone and to set timers with google now when i do laundry...otherwise if i wanna look up something, i just wait til i get home to my PC.

I have to say that if it happens with every phone and every app I wonder whether the problem might be your network?

I rarely view youtube, even more rarely on my phone, so can't comment on that. But given a decent network connection I can't say I've encountered the problem you describe with browsing: I currently have Firefox, Opera, NB Pro, Boat, Ghostery and Link Bubble browsers on my phone, and don't have this with any of them. The caveat about network connection is that at certain times of the day in certain places I know I am likely to have such problems, but I'm talking about a rail station at rush hour between and close to both a university and a hospital, so network congestion is hardly surprising there.

I does sound very much like carrier network problems. @Sento, what happens if you try using your Android devices on your home network, where you're using your PC?
