I used to run beejive im which was/is an amazing app for running many chat services. Great connection, all ims send/receive easily and not a battery hog. BUT! I don't want to pay for it AGAIN after having switched from blackberry to android.Therefore, I've been searching for a good app to run it all. I used to simply use AIM which connected me to aim, facebook and gmail chat and run skype separately. But this killed my battery (skype is a beast.)
Currently I'm running an app called imo.im which can be found here;

It runs decently and all my messages seem to be sent on time with the exception of facebook...but I think that's more of a facebook problem since even on my computer sometimes my messages won't send. The only gripe I have with this app is that it's a battery killer. Not as bad as skype but definitely a bigger killer than beejive was.

Does anyone have a suggestion for an app to chat on all these? Free preferred since if I have to pay I'd rather use beejive unless someone know of an app that blows it outta the water.
Thanks
