Best audio headphone jack TABLET

opinions, please, on tablets (not phones) that have the loudest and best quality internal DAC and headphone jack for playing hi quality audio files.

Right now I have an older Samsung and I have the Dragonfly DAC but I'm getting sporadic horrible digital distortion thru it. Wondering if maybe I could get equally good or better results by buying a more modern tablet.

What app are you using with the DAC? Some music players handle external USB DACs better than others.

(I use USB Audio Player Pro with my dragonfly red, though Neutron is almost as good in handling the DAC. I don't think other Dragonflys are quite as fussy about the app, the DFR's volume control is different).
