Apps Best books for learning Java and Programming for Android?

Hello, I was wondering what the best books for learning how to program in Java were? I've picked up a book on Android Programming (Hello, Android) and it doesn't cover 2.0+, are there any books that do cover this or any good resources? I've noticed that android relies on XML too, any good books for XML either? I have some experience in Visual Basic so any books that target those who know that language wanting to learn Java?

According to me Pro Android book is good for this java programming .This is one of the latest Google Android SDK programming books in the market. I especially enjoyed pragmatic mobile software development approach which accelerates learning, development time and quality.
