Best Buy eligible for MIR?

I was going to order the Nokia Lumia from the Metro website and save the extra fees from the store. But they are all sold out, I'm not sure how long it takes for them to refill the inventory. Some metro stores ran out as well.

I bought my f3 from Best Buy Mobile and paid a total of 120$ back in Sept. I believe it was cheaper than the metro store.

But at best buy the phone is listed as 79.99. Can we still get the Mir? I asked the fb metro page and they said as long as you buy from a authorized dealer.

Even if we get the rebate, the phone wouldn't be the $29.99 after rebate.

Don't mean to be a pain! Hopefully they refill on metros website! :)

A $29 phone usually means "we don't even have the production line for that phone set up any more, so take what's left and see if you can sell it". With rebate or without. The only phone a dealer loses a few bucks on is the free one. (And he makes it back with the money from the contract.) TNSTAAFL was never more true than in the cellphone business. (Even when Cingular was paying us more for a 2 year contract then they were charging us for the latest, greatest, Motorola Razr. We could have given those $500 phones away and still made a few bucks.)

Perhaps The Mothership should read their own damn rebate form.

Which, clearly states no Best Buy or Wal-Mart phones.

At least when I got my Spirit, Wirefly WAS considered a Metro Dealer.
