Best Buy vs. Verizon

I am planning to preorder a Galaxy S3 tomorrow in order to keep my unlimited data. I am wondering where I should preorder it at Best Buy or at Verizon. Does anyone know the advantages from buying it at Best Buy instead of Verizon?

Could you be a little more specific about what you mean by "price"? As far as i know Best Buy and Verizon will both be selling the phone at $200 and I will be keeping my current contract.

Well, BB gets a commission from VZW for signing/renewing contracts for their customer contracts. In the fall I renewed my step-sons contract at Amazon (same deal as BB) and was able to get him a Droid X2 for $0.01 whereas VZW had it for $99 for me (and I'm a 10+ year VZW customer).

Pro for BB is that the device return policy is 30 days. I think VZW is only 14 days.
BB also has their buy back program if you're interested.

Pro for VZW corp stores is they can possibly let you have an early upgrade but even that isn't common. BB can't move upgrade dates at all. That's all I could think of for pros for VZW.

I actually prefer Costco over both places.
