Best Contacts app with features?

iSLaND7

Newbie
I am looking for a nice contacts app with following features along with regulars:

- Ability to add keywords to contacts, to be able to search contacts with that keywords
- When calling/receiveing call from contacts data like organization name, designation, added keywords to be visible
- Online backup and restore
- automatic calendar entries of bdays
- sync with google/fbook/ outlook

which app comes closest?

The last three options are available to all contacts app. Contacts apps are just basically front ends to the stock contacts app which can do those last three features you mentioned.

Also, as for the calling/receiving screen, contacts apps don't generally change that, as its a separate feature. You'd want Full Screen Caller ID for that (its an app).

Main feature required is first one. keywords and search.
Also, full screen caller shows only image - not other fields of contacts like group, company, keywords etc, does it?

I use DW Contacts ... https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.dw.contacts.free&hl=en ... and sync my phone contacts with Outlook on my PC (using MyPhoneExplorer). DW can search any of the fields within it's contact details so if you want to add 'keywords' then add them to the 'Notes' field (this is a field that Outlook has but, if you use DW to add a contact to your phone directly it's a field that also appears.

Calls just show up as name/number + any picture you've assigned.

Just a point that sort of ties in with your mention of calls from an 'organisation' but calls from a 'shared' number cannot be logged definitely to any single contact. By a 'shared' number I mean, say, your 'home' number which may have several people as contacts with that same line (I have 3 - myself, my wife and my son) or a company where any calls out from that company are, as far as the telco is concerned, from the same, main, number. In both cases (they are the same case in effect) Android is unlikely to assign the correct contact to the call (in to your phone) as the API takes the incoming number and assigns the first contact it finds with that number, to the call log. There are ways to ensure the call log is 'more correct' but that's all. Just FYI ......

Yes.
DW Contacts is the exact app i require. Thank you so much.

Its features that i was talking abt-
+ search contacts by any attribute (name, nick name, phone number, organization, notes, address, email, relationships, websites, birthday, ...) + voice search
+ extended incoming call view (background service: show organization, group, notes, group picture)

and lots of other awesome features!
