Help Best data tariff?

I have decided to finally replace my PAYG tariff and get a 'Pay monthly', but not sure which to get.
I've had a Virgin mobile PAYG sim for more years than I care to remember and like the look of the T-mobile 3GB option for Android phones.
Is this the best out there or would it be better to just upgrade my Virgin mobile to a monthly contract?
