I'm currently with AT&T and thinking of moving to T-mobile when the Mytouch hits next month. I'm planning to sign up for two of them on a family plan (for my wife and I). Any suggestions on how to try and get the best deal possible from them?
Currently, I'm thinking I'll probably order the phones and service through Amazon, where the options for $30 for unlimited data and $10 for unlimited text per line. I'm hoping that within the first couple weeks while I'm still in my trial period, I would be able to call T-mobile and negotiate a lower price for the plan by threatening to return to AT&T. Thoughts?
Does anyone know if it's possible to negotiate plan/data package prices directly from T-mobile as a new customer? And if I did that, possibly still get a discount on the phone as well (since I'm expecting it to be cheaper through Amazon)?
Any experiences or ideas about negotiating the best deal with T-mobile as a new customer would be appreciated.
