Best Diary or Journaling App?

Looking to get back into writing about my life experiences for/of my family. One that can be easy to use, chronical, backup and export, hopefully sync with the desktop, password protected and would be cool if you can take pics and insert. Anything out there like that oor closest to it?

I'm not looking for images or other media on the phone at all - just something like microsoft notepad would be fine, that would store basix text files on the SD card, that I can then import without syncing etc, straight into a Microsoft word document on the PC. The app I'm looking for would probably not even be called a Diary/Journal. A basic text file editor.

Or is there one already on the Desire?
