best emulators for xperia play?

Hey guys im getting an xperia play this saturday and im really looking forward to running some emulators on it. I've tried doing a little research into it but i cant really get any solid answers on what the best emulators actually are. Im looking for NES SNES GB GBA Genesis and possibly a N64 emulator. i dont mind buying but im also willing to get them outside of the android market if its not available there (really just talking about the ones made by yongzh since apparently they worked very well). They also have to be able to work with the play's keypad since thats the reason im buying this phone :p

Hi. I'm also an Xperia Play owner and finding the right emulator to work with the game controller pad is critical. Check out "yongzh's" SlideMe Market account for his great emulators (previously available in Android Market but now ONLY available in the SlideMe Market).

Here's the link:

Personally I've had great success with the following emulators:

Sega Genesis: Gensoid (SlideMe Market)

Super Nintendo: Snes9x EX (Android Market) or SNESoid (SlideMe Market)

Nintendo: NES.emu (Android Market) or NESoid (SlideMe Market)

Atari: Ataroid (SlideMe Market)

Gameboy: Gameboid (SlideMe Market)

Nintendo 64: N64oid (SlideMe Market)

MAME: Jarcade (Android Market)

*more emulators in link above!

Most are FREE (with the exception of the N64 emulator). They all work perfectly with the Xperia Play.

Hope this helps!

I also vote for MD.EMU, it shits all over Gensoid from orbit and prevails in cleaning up where Gensoid fails (water effects, general sound issues, lag).

I have Marvin (zx spectrum), Frodo64 (c64) UAE4Droid (amiga), Gensoid (megadrive), SNESoid (snes), FPse (psx), N64oid and Mupen64plus (N64) and Mame4droid (arcade).

Like you i got my play for emulators, I'd say those are the best of the bunch but like all emus they have their flaws, disagree that the xperia play can't emulate n64 tho. Mario64 on Mupen64plus runs like a dream and even uses the xperia's analog touchpads.

I got tons of old roms for mame but fat chance they got these things set up for touch screen phones and tablets???
