Best Facebook and Twitter Apps

Facebook - Friendcaster. Only problem is when your friends have set their status privacy to disallow third party apps. When that happens their status is only available on official Facebook app.
Twitter- I use tweetdeck. Tried Hootsuite, seesmic, etc, I just keep going back.

I'm also looking for an app that allows me to filter the newsfeed based on lists (As one does on the regular facebook page). I can't believe this doesn't exist in the native android facebook app!
FriendCaster seems to do this, but requires me to manually scroll over to the list of interest (e.g. "close friends"), which is a bit tedious.
Does anyone else have this need and problem? Anyone have a good application for being able to make my wall less cluttered with posts I don't care about and being able to read from Facebook app?
