Best free keyboard?

I was super happy with Better Keyboard on my Galaxy S but one day it automatically updated to a new version and now it will only work if I buy it. If I knew this was going to happen I would have never updated it. I even tried looking for the older version online but I could not find it.

So I was wondering what is the best FREE keyboard alternative out there? I don't use swipe but I do need the keyboard to be able to use accents (like

I've read that the only thing that doesn't work after the Swiftkey trial ends is the prediction? Is this right? If so I'm going to stick with it. I've just downloaded the trial and it's really great.
