Best handwriting app for notetaking?

Hi all,

I've been looking around the market and through some YouTube videos, and I'm curious who thinks which handwriting app is best for note taking? The problem is many of em are paid apps without trial versions so I'm looking for someone with first hand usage experience to make a suggestion.

Are you looking for something that will convert your handwritten notes into typeface, or simply take down your notes?

If you are looking for just handwritten, no conversion, I use 'pen memo' on my galaxy tab and like it so far.

Wasn't looking for conversion. Though having the option of it in an app along with keeping handwritten notes would be nice and useful at times, it's not my primary focus

Yes I'm planning on getting the GTab 7.0 Plus round Christmas time and I'm aware of Pen Memo. It seems good for jotting down quick notes or scribbles, but if I were to use my tablet to take notes in class for example it doesn't look as if it would perform at the same level as some of the other apps out there.
