Best Home Replacement?

I've been using LauncherPro Plus for a while now and it's got everything I need.

I haven't tried ADW EX, but I've heard good things about that as well.

It's either Launcher Pro (Plus) or ADW (EX). I'm sticking with LPP for now since some new stuff are coming as it's being rewritten and it's really good right now (+the dev is really great). I think GO Launcher is supposed to be pretty decent as well. They are all free except for plus, and ex versions which both add some new stuff.
 
I have used ADW, OpenHome and Home++. I can say without a shadow of a doubt that I prefer Home++. It is simple, easy to use and looks great.
 
I don't think you can go wrong with any of the above mentioned ... however, if you want sense-like widgets, LauncherPro Plus is the only choice
