Best Lightweight GPS Navigation APP [offline use] for Samsung Galaxy S?

I work as a postman and I'm in great need of a lightweight GPS application.
I need only maps, directions will be rarely used as neverGoogle Maps is light but it needs Internet Connection most of the time
Can you recommend me one
 
"Lightweight GPS Navigation APP" and "offline use" are mutually exclusive, MariosX. You can't both have your cake and eat it.

If you "need only maps" you may want to have a look at the free MapDroyd app, which let's you download maps of your choice ahead of time.
 
Have a look at the free 'Maps (-)'.
OpenSteetMaps of your area you should pre-load on the SD card. So the app can used without data connection.
