Best movie format for Magic (Vodafone)

I've got some movies I want to convert for playing on my Magic. What I've been unable to find is a guide as to which codec, with which settings would be best.

Any pointers?

Convert it to MP4 format, using H264/AVC codec with 320 x 480 resolution.
That means you can simply use the classic iphone (3GS) settings.
