Best option for T-mobile slider upgrade

The wife and I are looking later today at upgrading from our 3G slides and not sure which direction to go. We both really want to keep a keyboard pretty sure but I guess it's not set in stone if there's a far better option without. We've been looking at the 4G slide as the best possibility as that seems to be about the only 4G option with besides the sidekick and we had sidekicks in the past and didn't like the size very much or general physical set-up on the phone. That's kind of why I'm saying I'd be willing to look at some without keyboards. So we've also looked a bit into the G2x possibly, is that a good option? We both send lots of texts and I use the web quite a bit. Also needs to have a decent camera, bluetooth, wifi calling a plus and wifi sharing a must.
So what options would be good to look into? We're gonna go to a store later today and look at some and just want to get a heads up on what phones we should look into while we're there. I'd possibly end up rooting it and messing around with that sort of thing too but I'm not way into all of that stuff too much.

Well I am a couple of days late and do not know if you have already made your purchases. I would definitely go with the 4G Slide. It seems to be the most up to date Android slider T-Mobile has to offer. I myself have the Samsung Gravity Smart which I love. I don't need the high end phone and the Gravity Smart is perfect for me. It's a mid-range Android slider that makes me happy :)

Let us know what you ended up buying! :D

Normally I would direct your to the G2. But they stopped making them. :-( I agree try the mytouch4g. Not to sure about the Lg as I have never had an LG phone. The G2x has A Lot of problems. Mainly because they seemed to rush it and it is not from HTC but Samsung.

If only if you can get your hands on a G2 then do it! Its a great phone! If not mytouch4g slide..its also a great phone!
