Best Password Manager App??

Any suggestions? Would like something that I can use both on my phone and on my computer that will sync together easily.

I came across KeePass and SplashId. Anyone have any experience with either of these? Or any other option for that matter?

thanks :D

I have been using SplashID for Palm, PPC and Blackberry for years. I just found out they have a version for Android and since I just got the Droid...I am going to get that as soon as I can...Never used the other one.

I have been using KeePass on my Windows systems and Linux systems for years and it has been great. I just installed the Android version this weekend and so far so good. I just transferred the file over manually to my SD card and no issues.

+1 for SplashID
Having it on the main Computer and on the Droid with easy sync is very important to me.
Had been using it for 6+ month on the G1 before - no issues...

Does any of these (or any others) allow you to fill in the login information on websites (like roboform does)?

one of the comments for lastpass was that it doesn't use the default browser. is this true? why doesn't it?

keepass is on the droid. Thats awesome! I use KeePassX on my linux box at home a windows client at work and now poof I have my account on the go. Now I just wish there was a dropbox client as thats what I use to keep things in sync as far as my database. Keepass even supports having the key file that you've hashed your file against as well as a password.

so lastpass won't actually auto fill in the standard android browser, right? you have to go in to lastpass and actually launch the the site from in there.

strange. don't know if I like that.

any one know of any others to try? i have been using eWallet but it does not look like they are moving fast enough to develop an android version.

i need a password manager that can sync with PC or the Web.
looked at keepass, splashId, lastpass and i dont like any of them. i could live with keepass but i want to see other options.

I also have ewallet on pc, need something for the droid / sync with droid.

+1 for KeePass on the DROID.

Been using KeePass for a very long time, after switching from Password Agent, and I have never looked back.

I haven't played with keypss but I'm assuming it suffers from the same faults as the others, which is it doesn't have any auto fill-in feature. My issue isn't remembering the passwords. Its more of a laziness thing.plus it would be even more useful on the droid since special characters are a pain to type in. Looking for something where I can enter one master password and then not have to worry about entering any more (at least not until the app locks itself after a specific amount of time of nonuse)

There isn't an auto fill feature as far as I have seen (as of yet) but there is a manual copy user name and copy password feature that I have had to use once.

SplashID seems VERY Overpriced! 9.99 for a droid app, plus 29.99 for desktop. No thanks. Cheaper to go with a word file IMO.
Hopefully ewallet or that Keepass (when v2 is updated to work on droid) comes out soon.

if people already have splashid that seems to make sense just to get an updated android client and off they go. But if you have to change anyway then I'd vote keepass.

I used ewallet and they have no quick plans for android so I just used the importer for keepass and presto chango in like 10 minutes I was good to go. (you need to use 1.6 on the pc so the same data works both on droid and on pc's). I use mesh.com to manually sync. I actually put the standalone keepass windows client up there too and i can download that and the database to any pc with web access and have what i need.

hopefully soon it will get updated to autosyncing too from the droid- that sounds way too cool.

I use keypass, its great, except for the syncing between computers. But i use dropbox for that. i'm just wating for the android client to be released.

keypass lets you copy your user name and password to the clipboard and then you can paste them instead of having to manually type them.
