For that deal? The One S IMHO.
I may go grab a few of them since they will be on the cheap and I am going to get a value plan and dump my prepaid so I can roam
BUT.... I may hold out for the SGS3
Except the SGS3 won't be free. You could grab the One S. Sell it on eBay then use the cash for the Samsung
Heads up everyone.
Customer Loyalty will not waive the mail in rebate on this deal. You pay about $300 for the phone then 6 to 10 weeks later you get a Visa Gift card for what you paid
Makes the 100 is spent on the One S with 100 MIR all the better (through online deal a few months back). Plus, the MIR doesn't cover tax. That means you've got about $25 that you won't get back. I had around $8.
T-mobile says that if you're not still using the phone that you're supposed to be getting the rebate for at the time of the rebate then they can/will deny your mail in rebate.
Just a precaution for those looking to immediately flip on eBay.
Does that mean I should not swap the sim around between my Nexus and the One S?
Kay...

That wasn't in the terms of the rebate. I read the whole thing. The only requirement was making at least ONE call from the phone.
If I'm denied the rebate I'll certainly be making a complaint to the BBB about it.
I read the same thing.... it does say "used once"
Not sure why such language would exist but it's there...
And meanwhile not only do you not get $200... you just lose.
The BBB used yo mean something...... back in the 60s.
Now nobody cares but people use it as a tool to try to get what they want.
I hear that all the time in my line of work.... I just laugh because it is quite funny when people use that line as if someone is going to get in real trouble now.
The BBB is not an official body... just a joke these days.

Also, can you provide a link/documentation to this claim? As I said, it was not in the terms of the rebate.
Here's the terms:
T-Mobile Rebates, Gift Cards and Promotions Center
I work at a T-Mobile retail store. I know this is what they were saying when explaining to the customers how to make sure that they get their rebates. It's possible that they may have just been saying this to discourage people from buying phones to flip but I personally wouldn't take any chances or give them any reason to deny my rebate. I guess we'll find out in a few months. Let us know how it goes.
