Not a huge cloud fan so I worry with stuff like google, etc...Even photobucket seems to have become more "public" without toning down all the settings. What is everyone's preference on photo sites?

I just back up to my Google account (Picassa) but then I don't really have anything that would make the tabloids if it got hacked. 
If you are concerned about security, there are a lot of options out there for a private cloud. If you ware worried about losing your photos, then multiple backup plans would work.
You can back up to dropbox, or Microsoft's cloud storage or just backup to local media ... as long as you backup.

I'm pretty content with my photos/videos automatically backing up privately to Google+. With 2-factor authentication and a very secure password, my Google account is easily one of my most secure online accounts so I sleep pretty soundly.
That said, I definitely understand that some people are hesitant about Google specifically or with putting all of their eggs in one basket, so to speak.
