Help Best radio

I'm looking for the Android phone with the best radio for my friend who lives in a fringe area. Her dumb phone works fine there. So far, smart phones - not so much.

I hear the Moto G offers the best radio. Is this true?

Motorola has been known for having good radios in their phones, yes.

But if you're in a fringe area with poor reception the only sure way to know would be testing the phone there.

Check to make sure the phone you buy has all the bands used by his carrier.

The Moto G4 is a multi band phone. It works on VZW, AT&T, SPRINT, and TMobile.
