Best Radio?

Hi;
What Phone has the best radio (I don't mean am/fm)?
I live in rocky mountains and cell reception is sketchy in many areas.
I would like my next ph. to have best coverage possible.

I believe the answer is Motorola.

The coverage is largely dependent on tower availability. In my are the majority of what I do is in line of sight to the Verizon tower. US Cellular has the best coverage in this area for a simple reason ... they have the fewest towers and rent the most tower space from competitor's of any carrier in the area.

So ... to answer your question ... which carrier has the best tower coverage?

Thanks Thom, but I did not mean service coverage.
I did mean best Radio.
I had an old motorola flip that would connect where other phones, including my droid3, would not find signal.
That is why I am looking for best brand/model smartphone with strong radio.

Is it safe to assume that you've already studied the tower question and/or have other reasons why you cannot change carriers, hence why you are now trying to make the best of it with the best radio you can? If so, it may help to know what carrier you intend to use -- this could not only guide the proposal of specific models but also one manufacturer may make better CDMA radios while another makes better GSM, etc.

Looks like it is Digital PCS and 4G HSPA+ it is Telus network.
