Root Best rom for smoother performance

Hi.

My wife has a Galaxy 3 and she's always complaining that its slow and chuggy. I admit it lags a lot.

I have a HTC Desire that had a massive modder following but I know nothing about the Apollo.

Is there a rom out there that allows the Apollo to run smoothly? or is the hardware just not capable?

This is her first smartphone and its really put her off them. All she wants it for really is calls, texts and internet.

Id love it if I could make it run smoother for her.

Your best place to look for ROMs is the XDA developers site:

Samsung Galaxy 3 - xda-developers

You will find all manner of mods under the Development section. You may have to register but registration is free. Ask any questions under the General section.

I only use my Apollo for calls, texts and internet so I avoid the overclocking versions of ROMs.
