Best root option 4.4.4 OA2?

Good day all,
Just got myself an AT&T Galaxy s5 for use on the cricket network.
Android: 4.4.4
Baseband: G900AUCU2AOA2
Kernel: 3.4.0-3116194

I've already tried towelroot and kingo rooting both of which failed.
What's my best option to get root / custom recovery?

Did you remember to downgrade your stock kernel to ND3 before attempting TowelRoot?

You can also, as per, "Troubleshooting:", in the tutorial, downgrade to the NCE, Android 4.4.2, firmware if you experience problems.
