Just updated to froyo! wooo ! so now i need that lag fix! and the best way to root would be?? i was gonna use z4 but its gone: ( ! my phone is bell canadian if that makes a difference! thanks guys

i just updated to froyo too and need to root but have never done anything like this before (well nooby)! purely want the root for a lagfix!! but i keep reading people bricking there phones from lagfixing ahh?

Look for z4Root on the xda Developers Site.
Under Samsung Galaxy S Android Development.

have you tried the superoneclick on xda-developers used it on my SGS and worked fine only tried this as z4root wont work on froyo Froyo Root Instructions using Superoneclick And Unrooting - xda-developers hope this helps

I don't know about z4root not working with Froyo as I've installed it from xda and used it seemingly without problems.
