Accessories Best rugged rapid-release case attached to body?

Hi,

I have an application that will use Android phones and NFC tags. The back of the phone will need to be brought to various NFC tags on a regular basis, say every few minutes. In between the phone will be playing music/podcasts/making calls/whatever, and needs to be secured to the body, either holster or armband or whatever. There won't be any normal pockets available.

It is not clear what is the best case style to keep the phone attached to the body, but quickly detachable to bring to the NFC tags, without too much stuff on the back of the phone that would prevent NFC function. My initial thought was a velcro armband and velcro backed case, but I'm not sure velcro would work well in a rugged environment. It seems like the expensive phone might just fall off the velcro armband.

Does anyone have ideas for a solution with these features? Pointers to actual products would be great!

How thick would the cases you want be? I had a SLIMARMOR before on my Note 2 and that didn't do anything to hamper NFC.

Thanks for the pointer to SLIM ARMOR cases. Those look like fine cases, and the thickness isn't important as long as NFC still works. But I also need some way to attach it to the body, either a belt clip, or a belt case, or an arm band, or velcro to something. Is there a way to attach a belt clip to the SLIM ARMOR cases?

I found a vertical holster belt clip case with a magnetic closing flap in a local accessory warehouse for $5. Then I found the same thing in a horizontal version here: http://cellcasesusa.com/kyocera-hydro-vibe-leatherette-mini-flip-wallet-pouch-cover-case/

(I'm testing with a Kyocera Hydro Vibe, but the actual phone isn't that important. Any cheap Android with NFC will be fine.)

The horizontal case construction blocks the entry/exit of the phone when a wired headphone is plugged in, so I guess that pushes me toward a bluetooth headphone. I have yet to test the NFC function with these belt clip cases.
