Best SD Card?

Just bought an S7

I want to ad a SD card; at least 128 gb.

I'm confused as to speed. I bought aN SD card for my Huawei Sensa a couple of weeks ago, and the guy said I needed a Class 10. When I bought my S7 last night, the guy said the closer I got to 100 mbs the better.

Can someone educate me?

Class 10 is the fastest you are going to be able to utilize, or for that matter, need. . It operates at a minimum of 10 MB/sec or 80 Mbps. A lot of people get MB/sec and Mbps confused.

There are also two Ultra High Speed (UHS) speed classes–1 and 3—but they’re more expensive and are designed for professional use. UHS cards are designed for devices that support UHS.

If you need more information on MB/sec vs. Mbps you can read this

@kate UHS-1 is the same speed as class 10 cards. UHS-3 is 30MB/sec, however I have yet to have my S8 have any problems in UHD (3840x2160) with a standard (not a cheap-o )Class 10 card. Now if you are using a professional camera recording 4K that is a whole different ballgame, especially with the new "V" class cards capable of 8K. Remember they always want to sell you something newer and faster...Even if you don't need it lol.
