Best settings for camera

What have you guys found is the best camera settings for non outdoor sunny settings)- auto, normal, auto flash, sports? Night?

Can't figure it out?

Also, is it best to hold and let camera multi focus? Or tap screen to focus

I think intelligent auto is the way to go.

Worst thing about the camera is that you can't leave auto as default. It always goes back to Normal.

It retains the last setting for a while, but eventually it'll go back to Normal. It wont stay in the last setting forever.

mine has held the settings (and i reboot my phone daily)- verizon

You reboot daily? What for? Did Verizon take out the auto clear ram too?
