Help Best wallpaper app that has edge-to-edge scrolling and supports uncompressed images?

It's been a couple months since I moved to Android (M 6.0.1) and I still can't find what I'm looking for. By default, Android compresses your wallpaper images and only lets them scroll a certain amount, so if you're applying a particularly wide PNG and only have a few homescreens, it'll come out lower quality and the sides will be cut off.

I'm looking for an app that shows you the very leftmost portion of the wallpaper on your very leftmost homescreen, and the right portion on your rightmost screen, and won't compress the image when you apply it.
The closest I've found are KLWP, which doesn't compress and has full scrolling but stutters for me between homescreens - and Image 2 Wallpaper, which doesn't compress but only supports full scrolling until a certain width.

Any crazy wallpaper people here have a better solution? I'm seriously thinking about writing my own app.

EDIT: Just stumbled onto it, but Muzei seems to work pretty well after you turn off all the fancy stuff. A little clunky and slow, but once the wallpaper is applied it has full scrolling and no compression. (EDIT2: Muzei doesn't seem to support non scrolling images, zooming in on the ones that are exactly your resolution so you still get a scrolling effect...the zoom also happens on ones with a small amount of extra space on the sides, like 50-100px)

Another one I found is SB Wallpaper Changer. Works great so far, except my lockscreen wallpaper just shows black. There always seems to be one thing that keeps these from being perfect.

What phone are you using? I used to get my wallpapers off Zedge or whatever and just use the normal stock way to apply the wallpaper in my Xperia Z1. I haven't actually bothered changing the wallpaper in my new phone as I quite like the one installed on my ROM. On the Xperia it would come up after selecting the picture as wallpaper with a box and two little boxes eitherside (signifying the scrolled screens, you could then drag and stretch the square where you wanted on the wallpaper. Does yours not have this option?

Finally!

SB wallpaper is great... when it works. You get a black lockscreen? I have a note 4 but my lockscreen shows up the same as my current homescreen.

Have you EVER gotten landscape to work? I can't for the life of me see that option. Is it gone? I see portrait as default for the homescreen, but haven't been able to switch toggle nothin for the other 3 settings (home land, lock port, lock land). it's gone/

Also, the double tap function, stops working after 10 or 15 minutes...

seriously wtf. I have to re-set "set this app as your live wallpaper" for it to work for me.

Is there some other setting I'm missing? I did not notice this the first night but I do now. Does this happen to you?

FIVEWALLPAPER is imo the best app. It has everything, including excellent organization,, up to 9 desktop each with their own private directory and settings should you want.

It DOES have infinite scroll and fill image, but scrolling doens't move the wallpaper latteral at all!

~i agree. Wish I could combine the two. I have over 500 pretty wallpapers. Zedge is a great program for papers and ringtones.

Still looking for that no resize side to side (infinite) scroller with auto-rotate options that work myself.
Let's work on this together. Fivewallpapers is supposed to get an update in the next 2 weeks, and I e-mailed the owner actually. Have you used fivewallpapper? Thoughts??

Cool, there's my crazy person.

I don't know anything about landscape because I don't use it. But it sounds like double tap isn't working because of RAM problems and how Samsung phones tend to shut down apps when they're not being explicitly used. But I don't use double tap either, so I dunno. Sucks that you like landscape so much, adds another complication for these apps to **** up.

FiveWallpapers doesn't do anything that my other apps don't, and like you said, doesn't scroll, so that's a dealbreaker. SB Wallpaper is still my best option, except for the lockscreen issue, but I've talked to the developer who says that he'll get to test it on a 6P soon and hopefully fix the bug (only happens on 6Ps, 5Xs are apparently fine). Then I'm home free.

Which will be nice, because right now I'm using slow ass Muzei for wide scrolling wallpapers, KLWP for static wallpapers (which would be great for everything if it didn't stutter while scrolling), and I don't have an option for very minor scrolling anymore (which Muzei zooms in on to increase the scrolling effect) because my solution before, Image 2 Wallpaper, doesn't actually have accurate scrolling and does the same thing that stock Marshmallow does, cutting off the sides to reduce scrolling no matter what.

Anyway, all that to say that neither of us have found what we're looking for yet, and if you or anyone else hears about anything good, please let me know so that I can stop thinking about this stupid problem and just enjoy my pretty shit.

"so I can stop thinking and just enjoy my pretty shit."

lol.

I don't care for landscape would be nice to try out. But I just don't like that it seems like the option was there, but he stripped it, and never told us.

kudos. On the look out for an app that does it all.
