Help Best way to move big games and apps to SD card?

Hello, I've read different methods on Google about that but here I'll ask for the best and most up-to-date one.
So, here is the situation: I was using Windows Mobile Pocket PC until recently and I was used to install big apps on SD card.
A few days ago I decided to move to Android and bought Sony Xperia E3. I knew that it has only 4 GB of internal storage, but I thought this is not a problem, because I thought I can install big apps and games entirely on the SD card. That's why I bought big and fast SD card.
BUT it turned out that as you know, only a small part of certain app can be tranferred to SD card, and the bigger part remains on the internal memory. I did some research and did the ADB trick - set-install-location 2.
BUT again most of the app remains on the internal memory! WTF?!
For example Real Racing 3 is ~800 MB but only ~50MB can be moved to SD card. Who the hell invented this ridiculous approach?
So here I'm asking what is the best and most non-invasive (for the device) way to move apps and games to the SD card. By non-invasive I mean without rooting. I still have the chance to return the phone but I really like the design and the cheap price so I want to fight for it.
I am awaiting advices. Thank you :)

In a nutshell, take your phone back, 4GB is of little use as you have found out. There are so many threads in this forum about internal memory issues and there is no "proper" solution because of the way developers compile games and Android OS restrictions.

Yup get a new phone. Depends on the game developers though. Bard's Tale is a 2GB game in full, but the devs made it so that I am allowed to move everything except around 30MB of the game into the SD card. Asphalt 8 on the other hand only moves 60MB to the SD card and keeps 1.4GB on the phone.

I found some app called Link2SD that links the big app files to the SD card. At this stage I would agree to root the phone. Has someone used such app and what do you think about it?

Link2sd is very good
I have a 16GB tablet with 400+ apps installed and in reality, only 1GB of its internal space has been used
Close to 50GB have been used on my external 64GB microSD with the help of Link2SD
Device has to be rooted
Microsd formatted to anything really, app supports all EXT formats, FAT and others

I have installed games like Batman the dark knight which takes 2GB, NFS most wanted, injustice...you name it

Another app that can be useful is Foldermount, it will help move folders or big files from one partition to another

There's also another brilliant approach with a "storage reversal hack"

Pure genius, I've tried it on an LG F6 and also on a Galaxy Tab 2 10.1, with great results

My LG F6 only has about 1.27GB of available space, however, with the hack above, I made it a 55GB device and the same 400+ apps are installed on it :)
Asphalt 7 and 8, Fifa15, NFSMW, Injustice, IGladiator, Sonic Racing....All HUGE
