Best way to stay on top of newly released apps?

In the market in each category there is a "just in" section that shows all the apps that were just added or updated.

market > Games > All games > and it's near the top next to the "top paid" and "top free" buttons there is one that says "just in."

That is just one example, it's there when you go into any of the categories for games or apps.

Wow, can't believe I missed that.. Sorry about that. Thanks!

For me, for apps I already have to see if there are new updates on. I open up android market - hit the menu button and then hit download. It will scan all the programs on your phone and if there are any NEW updates, it will tell you there is an update available.

To see if there are any new apps/games, as someone mentioned earlier, I goto the just in. I go there every day hoping to see a fantasy baseball app I can download to track my teams.

I'd suggest following the forum sites unless you really enjoy "panning" for quality apps since so many are out there.

Ok where are you all seeing this "Just in" section in the market? When I go to the category I want, I have to columns to choose from: "By popularity" or "By Date" I don't see anything saying "Just In" though I guess "By Date" may be the same thing? Thanks, Whiteice

I had the same question. I usually go to the "By Date" section, but that gets hard to wade through sometimes. It would be nice to filter out certain developers. I could care a less with all the books you can buy. I have to go through pages and pages of those!

I think appbrain was mentioned on here. That is on my to do list to try out....

I tried Androlib but I prefer the layout of Androidzoom.com.

Much simpler layout, more apps listed per page, and all the key features: Latest entries, view only free, view only paid, search, breakdown of ratings, full reviews.

I believe the "Just In" section is only 1.6 or 2.0 and up. I think that was one of the "big" market changes...

For what I think you guys that don't see "Just In" have, check out this picture...

For what I have on 2.0/2.01/2.1 (again, not sure on 1.6) check this pic...
