Help Beyond bad design.

YouTube video notifications on an android phone have a low randomized chance to cast to a nearby Roku or Chromecast when clicked rather than playing like normal.
I have no words. No matter how you look at it, this is completely destructive.
Is there anything I can do besides live in fear?

No ideas, and don't know much about Roku.

I just plug my phone into the TV via an HDMI adapter, and it always works.
