Could be. Maybe it's just so popular!
Still going to take a while to beat say Space Invaders or Pac-Man for popularity. And obviously those games are not dependant on being online and/or having GPS to work.
Speaking of Space Invaders there's a new version out called Retro!. Pretty cool it adds a new darkness stage and firing buttons on both sides but still plays like the old standby.
