Bixby Thinks Spring starts Thur. 3-22

Maybe they postponed Spring? It's snowing here right now! ;)

Is Korean Spring different? :o

Okay, let's think this through ... as a possibility ... Bixby, as Samsung's answer to Siri or Google Assistant would get it's data from Samsung servers. Now, it should be smart enough to use the time zone for the user, but on general relative questions it might look at the server date. And, that would mean Spring started in Korea Yesterday, but because they are on the other side of the dateline, it was the 21st. But, you asked when the first DAY of spring was, which might be interpreted as the first FULL day of spring, which would be today ... and right now it's already Thursday in Korea, so it's kind of correct ... sort of.

Try asking Bixby "when does Spring start in the United States?" and see if it comes up with Tuesday.

i just asked bixby when does spring start and it "found" that spring in the northern hemisphere began tuesday march 20.

so "asking" it exactly the way @w8wca did, it also gave me "thursday". i live in Los Angeles with a stock non rooted device.

So, asking bixby,

“Hi bixby, whats the first day of summer” it responded with “Its Thursday”

“Hi bixby, whats the first day of fall” it responded with “its Thursday”

“Hi bixby, whats the first day of winter” it responded with “its Thursday”

Based on inputting the same search phrase in my usual internet search engine,

Summer is on a Thursday this year

Fall is on a Saturday

Winter is on a Friday

This is this year and in the northern hemisphere
