When I hold my GS3 phone up to the side of my head to talk various things on the screen get pressed and I either lose the call, put it into speaker-phone mode or end up with some other problem.
OK, so I turned on the proximity detector to fix that, which it does by turning off the display when I hold it to the side of my head. Fine, no more problems - UNTIL I call a number where I have to enter a password. As soon as I try to tap the keypad the proximity detector shuts off the display!
This is ridiculous! I didn't have this kind of problem on my previous phone - a Droid Incredible - how do work around it on the GS3?
Thanks in advance!
