Help Black app drawer android 5.0

Hey. I got android 5.0.1 today! (Yay) and the update went smooth... Nothing screwed up and everything is how its supposed to be except the app drawer. Is it meant to be the same old Kit Kat one or is it meant to be updated lollipop one? I am on a nexus 7 2013

The app drawer is provided by the launcher, so it may depend on what launcher you use, e.g. if you use a 3rd party launcher this won't change just because you updated the OS.

I dont use any third party launchers. And on the internet others seem to have a lollipop drawer

I've just read that it's the Google Now launcher which gives you the white app drawer. So if you are not using that I guess black would be expected.

(Not sure what the default with the N7 Android L is, but I found other reports of people with a black drawer and this was the suggested difference).

I just downloaded the google now launcher and got the drawer. Thanks for your help!
