Checked them it's alway been at full resolution. This is the image I got when transfered to pc. Others don't have borders

You need to either rotate the image of tilt your phone into the landscape mode.

If you took the image in landscape mode and then display it in portrait this will happen

Ok thanks, I don't suppose you know if u can activate the camera with the screen totally off? I watched a video where a guy tilted the phone and it came on, and I have it activated but only works when the screen is lit

Just tried the way u said with the pics no black borders, it must be something else. I expect black borders on the phone but not when I put them on pc. Must be something I did with that photo

yeah i get this as well, why does it do this. i expect to take full scale/full screen PHOTO'S no matter which way i hold the cameras.

Do you mean the image is one you had on your PC, or did you take it with the S3 camera. If you got it off your PC it may not be the same resolution at what the camera takes. The pic you posted is in portrait, but not as many pixels high as what the camera takes, so when viewed it puts in the black bars at the top and bottom. Like watching an older TV 4:3 format with a 16:9 program playing adding the black bars at the top and bottom.
