I saw that after you posted. It was for Sprint. Holy buckets it's come down. Having not been able to sleep (too many diet Cokes) I saw your post, got up and checked and got on chat. Voila! They price matched it. What a deal.

Yeah dan330, I've been waiting patiently to pick one up to make it more affordable. I totally understand.
One "no-no" that I did (tsk tsk) is I opened up an Amazon.com VISA once I saw a banner up top for a free $50 gift card which I applied to the purchase. I hate getting more credit, but I paid for it up front (sending my payment in) and that has now brought the complete total down to $75 for me.

Just my 0.02- I tried to get the free LG G2 since I was out of contract, it seems to me that is a new contract, as you said.
Sprint did not agree and led me on a 9 representitive, two day chase.
I gave up and left them.
I went back to Verizon since the original reason I left has been resolved anyway.
Anyway, just my experience, ymmv
