Black screen of death?

My android maxx is not responding. Screen is black. Won't restart with power button. Only life is green button is flashing. I charged it. Can't seem to wake it up. With my old phone I would just take out the battery to reboot.

Try holding the power button down for 10-15 seconds. That's the equivalent of a battery pull for these phones.
