BlackBerry Messenger on Android?!

It wasn't that long ago that there was discussion of BlackBerry releasing BBM for Android...could it soon be a reality? I must say I'm surprised. I wonder if this is indicative of RIM's diminishing market share.

I'm surprised as well, I thought RIM would've kept the BBM card close to their chest. I have many friends that use the service so I'll probably be using this (stinks that it's going to be watered down though).
