The Verge just released their 3-minute video review of the BlackBerry Priv on YouTube.
While it is an admirable effort by the company, Dieter just feels that the outstanding bugs are what is holding it back for now.

Michael Fisher of Pocketnow has just published his review of the BlackBerry Priv and has good things to say about the innovative keyboard, the build quality and the unique form factor.
However, he doesn't feel the Priv is worth the $700 price tag when you have devices like the LG G4 and the 2015 Moto X Pure Edition costing much less and offering similar hardware. If that physical keyboard is mandatory though, then he believes the Priv is right for you.

Ron from Droid-Life just reviewed the Priv from BlackBerry and likened it to the Palm Pre. Meaning that it had some good software, interesting hardware, poor battery life and performance but does everything else very well.
He also didn't like the fact that the Priv didn't have a fingerprint scanner and feels that with that plus a better camera, it could be the best phone of 2015. While he's glad that BlackBerry made the Priv with Android software, he just doesn't think it's the home run that they wanted it to be.

Lanh of Android Authority takes a look at the BlackBerry Priv and tells us that he feel they did a great job at combining BlackBerry features on an Android device. He did feel the software was lacking in some areas but has confidence that BlackBerry can and will fix this in future updates to the OS.

They like the display, the keyboard and its gestures, the camera, but think that the Priv is going to be a stepping stone to something better.
