Blackberry to Android.....

Good job with your blog. Well done friend!:)

Pardon my ignorance but.. what is BES?

Blackberry Enterprise Server. It runs along exchange and provides allot of options for the Administration (like kill a BB remotely, block traffic, etc). Very powerful. Also provides instant email, calendar, tasks and notes sync.

Thanks for the kind words!
Jeff

goodday,

I also am going to be switching from my blackberry (7 years of loyal service) to android.

Here is a messaging question I was hoping can be answered:

I send texts to multiple people all the time. With the blackberry, you are limited to 10 contacts for the "bulk" message. what, if any, are the limitaion of the android based phones?

thanks for you help!

p.s. The is probably an app for that. lol

Sorry for not responding sooner, for some reason my email notifications here at not sending to me to know someone has posted a commment.

From what I can tell I added 100, but did not send it. Not sure what limit is.

I don't know if you are still watching this thread or not. But I would like to ask you a question on the email.

On BlackBerry phones, if you delete an email message, you can also delete it on the server side. That is very convenient. Do you know if it is the same for emails on Android phones?

Thanks.

Sorry I just noticed this post. A few weeks ago there were some site issues here at AF and was not notified of your post. Apologies...

Using native email on android yes. If you use touchdown you can have it leave it on server side.
